Petition Bank Closures: Fife – Dalgety Bay

We have been asked by What’s Happening Dalgety Bay and our sister title the Dalgety Bay News to host a petition about the forthcoming bank closure in October in Dalgety Bay.

At the moment we are happy to run this and other petitions, either about banks or anything else that impacts on the community well being of  Scotland and all things Scottish.   However, it is an editorial decision about which petitions we run with and the editor’s decision is final.

Now the legal bit

All email addresses collected are purely for the purpose of the petition and will be given to the appropriate bank and/or Member of Parliament or Member(s) of the Scottish Parliament.

  1. What alternative arrangements does the bank propose for businesses, and those unable or unwilling to do online banking?

    1. Personally we do not use RBS. From the news stories the new branch for those in the Bay will be Dunfermline. After the RBS closed their Inverkeithing branch most of the Inverkeithing custoner base moved to Dalgety Bay. There have been closures with Clydedsdale at Inverkeithing too and now at Rosyth. Therefore future banking needs of these communities and nearby Dalgety Bay looks bleak.
